The Writer’s Wheel is a three-tiered spinner that de-mystifies the process of writing, and helps people develop into more productive, more confident writers.

Though whimsical in appearance, and fun to play with, the spinner is a tool to help people understand the process of writing—both in general (there are things that many writers have in common), and individually (everyone has their
own way of operating). You can use this understanding to take control of your process. The spinner can help you pinpoint where you are now, monitor how things are going, and plan where you need to go next.

Each part of the spinner is fully explained in pop-up windows. The pop-up windows also pose questions to writers to get them thinking about how they operate, and about how they can develop themselves as writers.

The Writer’s Wheel won’t do your writing for you, but it can help make writing a pleasant experience.
